Glossary
If you export a GEDCOM file with the receiving system set to TempleReady, Kith and Kin Pro asks you for some additional information which you may be required to include in the file (check with your LDS representative).
Descendants of Mormons may desire temple ordinances to be performed on behalf of their deceased ancestors. The LDS TempleReady program is a system which determines whether the information provided passes certain clearing rules, and whether any ordinances have already been performed.
If you need to enter a Temple code, click on the down arrow on the right of the box to bring down a list of available temple codes. Click on the one that you require. If the temple you require is not in the list you can enter the code manually in the box above the list. The latest temple list is available from our Web site.
Enter the Family file name if required.
These details will be included in a special SUBN (submission) record in the GEDCOM file.
