Glossary
This will open the selected database. If the Tree Area is visible and a start family has been selected, the Tree Area will scroll to the start family. Other options will either scroll to a random family or scroll to the last viewed position in the Tree Area.
When Kith and Kin Pro is started it always opens the last used database unless you put the name of a required database on the command line.
You can open a specific database when Kith and Kin Pro starts up by including the database name on the command line. For example, you could add a new shortcut to Kith and Kin Pro on the desktop and modify the shortcut properties "Target" to "C:\Program files\Kith and Kin Pro V3\KithKinP.exe" "My tree". If your tree database name includes spaces you must enclose it in quotes. The database root folder must be the same as the last-used database.
If the database was created with option settings which do not match your current settings, you may wish to update person, family or date descriptions after opening the new database.
